American Blues Guitar Illustrated History

This book will do just that. Help us to understand the Blues. Where the Blues came from and how it got started. Who were the major players of Blues, where did they come from, what did they do. What were the instruments that were used and made famous by the Blues players?
The book starts out with the story or history of the Blues. Learn how it all got started, and understand who was involved. See the pictures of the original Blues players. What kinds of guitars did they use? What did the guitars of the original Blues musicians look like? See what the houses of the original Blues players looked like. What were the conditions like where they lived.
The next section deals with the guitars of the Blues musicians. Stella guitars, catalog guitars, Martin guitars, Stahl guitar, etc. All the guitar types are covered one by one. Each guitar type section has an identifier area giving you it's distinct characteristics, markings, manufacturer information, etc. They also talk about who were the people who played each of these styles of guitars. A large photo of each of the guitar types helps to identify and understand them better.

The first series of Fender Stratocaster guitars was released for 1954 to 1958.
